Custom Field Data Icons

With this plugin you will be able to show Classipress custom fields with icons along with core Classipress fields on front page when listing ads.

Some data can be important to the user, but users always have to click on an ad to see if specifications meet their expectations. And that can slow down your site. That’s why I decided to create Custom Field Data Icons plugin.

When you setup a Classipress theme, you will probable use your own custom fields that are important for your site. This fields are used then mostly for searching and also displaying data.

With this plugin you will put custom fields with icons on front page, so the users can quickly see main specifications of the items being sold when scrolling trough ads.

If you need more room for icons, you can remove count statistics from ad listing. Here is a post on how to do that.

There is one thing you will probable need to do after you install this plugin:

Add you own icons

There are some icons already included in the plugin, but you will probable have different types of custom fields, therefore you will need to create your own icons.

A good place to start would be Icon Archive or you can just Google for a type of Icon you are looking for.

Icons must be 16 x 16px in size.

Then put the icons in your WordPress media library and select them from drop down menu on plugins’ settings page.

This plugin was tested on Classipress 3.2.1, 3.3.X, 3.4.x, 3.5.x, 3.6.x and 4.x.
