Classipress has 3 positions where you can show number of ads per categories. Two of them represent huge impact on SQL server. Here are my recommendations:
Search Drop-down Options
Show Ad Count – OFF
Categories Menu Item Options
Show Category Count – OFF
Categories Page Options
Show Category Count – ON
The third can also be an impact on performance, but try first with first two since they are on front page.

No limitation on number of installations you can use plugins on.
All plugins have language files included, so you can translate them to your language.
I don’t think this is a good idea, I have Classipress site and I want to see the adcount.
Better try another tweak.
I agree with you. It’s a good feature, but it uses a lot of CPU. So if your site has a lot of visitors, switching this off will save you some CPU time.
Remove Category Ad count not from the settings ?
I have removed the category ad count, under the classipress settings, so when you visit the home page you can NOT see the ad count, BUT once I click on the category, it shows the ad count again beside the category name. Please tell me how to remove it ? Thanks
